Senior Hydrogeologist
Our Senior Hydrogeologist position requires an advanced degree in Hydrogeology and 10+ years consulting experience. We are seeking a technical leader to work on a variety of projects involving groundwater resource evaluation and development, hazardous waste site investigation and remediation, and construction-related groundwater assessments such as dewatering. Knowledge of the geology and regulatory issues unique to the Pacific Northwest is important.
Senior Remediation/Environmental Engineer
We are also seeking a Senior Remediation/Environmental Engineer to join our Seattle team. Successful candidates will possess an advanced degree in Environmental Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with Environmental emphasis, and be licensed as WA and/or OR P.E. We are seeking an individual with 10+ years consulting experience in the assessment of soil, groundwater and surface water quality, as well as the design of remediation systems (both physical and chemical), and stormwater drainage and treatment systems.
As senior level positions, responsibilities for both of these roles will involve mentoring of junior staff, client and project management, and business development activities.
Edmonds, Washington (Pentec Environmental)
Fisheries Biologist
Our Natural Resources group has an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Level Fisheries Biologist. With a M.S. or Ph.D. in Fisheries Biology with 10+ years of Pacific Northwest consulting experience, this individual will be an integral member of our water and natural resources services groups. The geographic range of projects this individual will be responsible for could extend from Oregon to Alaska. Thorough knowledge of the Endangered Species Act, NEPA, Pacific and Washington State species, issues and regulations are required. Experience should include marine, estuarine and freshwater life history of salmonids, fish habitat assessment, and project permitting. Experience in habitat restoration, aquatic toxicology, GIS applications database management, and watershed analysis are also desirable. Responsibilities of our Senior Fisheries Biologist include leading project teams in both office and field settings. Strong communications and technical writing skills, with proven capabilities in project management, business development and mentoring of junior staff are critical. Established working relationships with a local client base is a plus.
Civil/Environmental Engineer
We also have an opportunity in our Edmonds office for a Project level Civil/Environmental Engineer to work on a variety of projects with our Natural Resources, Waterfront and Water Resources Groups. This individual, preferably a Washington PE, will be responsible for study planning, data collection, analyses and interpretation, systems design and report writing. The successful candidate will possess an Environmental or Civil Engineering degree (MS preferred), with 7+ years of combined field and office experience in the assessment of soil, hydrology and river hydraulics, groundwater and stormwater, as well as design of stream restoration and remediation systems. These responsibilities require strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS are highly desirable.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer
The individual we are seeking for our Senior Geotechnical Engineer role will be an M.S. or Ph.D. Geotechnical Engineer, with a P.E. in OR and/or WA. The senior-level responsibilities of this position requires 10+ years consulting experience providing geotechnical design and construction recommendations for a variety of development, industry and port/harbor clients within the Pacific Northwest. Experience with environmental projects is highly desirable. This position requires a history of achievement in mentoring junior staff, project management and business development.
